Soul Number 5

Soul Number of 5 means that family and friends are important, although you may have difficulty in relating to them. It also means that you can flourish in an environment that encourages inventiveness, and creativity. You have a strong inner resourcefulness.

You are also highly enthusiastic and eager to please others.  However, those individuals with this number at many times in their lives feel compelled to travel and experience different situations (new job, new home, new relationships, new city, ...) Just the idea of freedom, and the ability to have no strings attached, intrigues them.

Generally, from a very young age these individuals will have a sharp interest in education and learning. These are the children that will learn to take apart, and put back together, all of their toys. These are the young adults who win the science fair, with ideas that they came up with. These are the adults who seem to have an encyclopedic knowledge of culture, books, movies, science, and more. At times, they may need to be encouraged to share their knowledge with others as they may not feel that they have anything of value to contribute.

Understanding the limitations and strengths of your Soul Number is one step in your journey into your dream life. You will need to be cognizant of the "magnetic" push/pull effect that your core numbers can have on one another. You may wish to consider the power of gender influences of your numbers. Odd numbers (1, 3, 5, 7 and 9) are masculine, while even (2, 4, 6 and 8) are feminine. Hence, if your Soul Number is masculine then you may need to be more dynamic or aggressive in bringing its strengths into your life. if your Soul Number is feminine then you may need to bring more compassion into your life.

    Element: Air

Thinking about how the elements (water, earth, air and fire) usually interact can help you to analyze their influences in the reading and on particular numbers. You need air for fire to burn, and you need air and water to grow things. Too much of any element can cause trouble.

Within the Tarot, Air can be thought of a Wands or Swords. Swords can cut and be powerful defensive weapons. Wands can be magical.

Air is the element of new life and new possibilities. Air symbolizes freedom, open areas and spaces. Air is vital for living, and supports us in each breath that we take. Air also represents the intellect and the mind. It is inspiration and imagination. It is communication, ideas, knowledge, dreams and wishes. Air can be very peaceful and still, or it can be a raging tornado. It can be a calm breeze on a warm spring day, or a wet, gusty, whipping wind of a hurricane. Both seeds and trash are carried on the wind.

    Common "air" related phrases:

    "As light as a feather"
    "Lighter than air"
    "Airhead"
"He/She is full of hot air"
    "head in the clouds"
